How we calculate
We work out the area of each wall (width × height) and add 10% for trimming at the edges and around windows or power points, and so the pattern lines up naturally. That is divided by the panel size (0.25 m² for 500 × 500 mm panels, 1 m² for 1000 × 1000 mm panels) and rounded up to whole panels. For Evergreen and Arborea we switch to a box of 12 whenever it works out cheaper than single panels. Trio Pure and Trio Wild come in boxes of 3.
Panels snap together with the interlocking edges. On timber or plaster, staple the base mesh to the wall (a staple in each corner and roughly every 250 mm), or use screws or nails with large washers into the studs. On brick, stone or concrete, drill and plug every 250 mm and fix with screws and washers.
