How we calculate
Soundscape panels are 600 mm wide and run vertically, so we divide the width of each wall by 600 mm and round up to whole columns. Each column is then filled from floor to ceiling: full panels first, and the cut-off piece at the top. Where an offcut is long enough to finish another column, we reuse it, then round up to whole boxes. If you enter a total m² instead of wall sizes, we add 10% for cuts. Square panels come 5 to a box (1.8 m²), Long panels 3 to a box (2.16 m²) and Maxi panels 2 to a box (3.24 m²).
Most people fix the panels with construction adhesive on the back of each panel. On plasterboard you can also secure them with black stainless steel screws along the edges and in inconspicuous spots.
